Does anyone know where I can find a piano hinge that is rust proof? I need it about 4' long. I'm going to put a raised deck in the back of my boat and want to make a access door in the back. I've bought all my aluminum stock for the supports and bought one piano hinge already, but just sitting outside for a week, not even installed yet, its rusting already! Thanks for the help, Doug

Cabela's sells both an aluminum piano type hinge and a SS.  They're 6 foot long but can be cut to whatever you length you want.

Before you jump on Cabela 's check your local window repair shops, aluminum hinges are used very commonly by them and you can get what you want from them cheap and you don 't have to pay shipping.
