Bass Hunter Patching

Featured Replies

So I found this boat online and he's asking for $60. To me that sounds like a steal. It does have a small hole. I'm curious do you think it's fixable?

For $60 I would be willing to gamble if I could patch it or not.

Search on YouTube how to plastic weld. It's worth a shot. Good luck.

Use a fiberglass repair kit. I repaired a hole the size of a softball years ago and it never leaked a drop.

Mine wore through from dragging yo launch. Fiberglass patch is the way to go.

That's an old polyethylene boat. It looks like the plastic has degraded from UV exposure. It was probably stored with the hull in the sun.

I wouldn't touch it.
