I was wondering if anyone knows anything about or has a 1997 Bass America by Polar Kraft. I just picked one up. It needs a little work but then again what used boat doesn't? Problem is I can't find anything online about it and I have a call in to the manufacture but have not heard anything back. I need a trailer for it. I thnk the one I have is a little small and am looking at a Shoreland'r 1816 that I came across but I nee to be certain it will fit. The one it is on works but.. it make me nervous because it is a tight fit. I just need some specs/ a manual or something of the sort so I can figure out the features. I wouls appreciate any help.  

Do you know the name brand of the trailer?

There really won't be any sort of manual for the boat.  Boat manuals, at least the ones that have them are basically generic deals showing you how to launch a boat, turn on the livewells, etc.  no specs or anything pertinant to the boat you have would be listed.  Your best bet is to wait till you hear from the manufacturer or you could take it to a local trailer builder who could build you a trailer made for you boat.  A trailer setup for an aluminum boat isn't nearly as critical as one for fiberglass.

Ok well after much pondering on my trailer dilema for the past few weeks I decided that come Feb. I am just going to buy a brand new trailer. This way I know for a fact that everything is in working order and not been in saltwater. Thanks for the heads up on the manual. Let you know what I hear back from the manufacture.  The current trailer is an Ashley made by Hustler.
