  1. I recently used Toon Brite on my Bass America. I have yet to have my boat in the water as I am afraid I will not be able to get her back on the trailer that she currently sits on. I bought it in Oct and it has some pretty dark water lines. The only problem is that one jug will not last very long so I would recommend 2 or more if you apply it as liberally as I did. My dad reconmmended it to me. With an even application it really does a great job. I wish I had some before and after pictures (day and night difference. Forgot to mention that very little (none what so ever) elbow grease it required. My dad told it is the same stuff people use to clean pontoons. Makes sense. I picked it up at the local boat shop for about $18 bucks or so and I must say it was definitely worth every penny. I found out the the sides of the boat are acutally painted grey. If you use it let me know what you think. I think it is also know as Toon Shine. Awesome stuff! Might want to use some rubber gloves though.
  2. So I take it no one knows anything about this line of boats??
  3. I bought an 18 and a half foot aluminum bass boat. Got a picture here -> http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1164646266 I spent some time in the Cabelas in Wheeling not too long ago and am thinking about up at least one life jacket. Wife thinks I am crazy but I should have one then so should my dog. After all animals get tired too. I espcially like the handle. I think we will make a couple of test runs before we make it a regular thing. By the way, if anyone has any info on this particular boat or know some one who does please let me know. I have contacted the manufacture a couple of times and have yet to hear back from them.
  4. Guess I'll take a couple of test runs before I make it a regular thing. Thanks for the welcome.
  5. Anybody take their dogs fishing with them? Since I just got my first boat I will be spending A LOT of time on the lake. I have 3 labs 1 which I know for sure will be fine, 1 I am not sure about and 1 that has bad arthritis. Any tips on getting them in the boat, keeping them in the boat or making them sit still when underway? My female I think is going to become my fishing buddy in a hurry. The boy is the one I am worried about since he has a mind of his own.
  6. Here it is. The trailer it sits on is the first one. It is no longer with us.
  7. Ok well after much pondering on my trailer dilema for the past few weeks I decided that come Feb. I am just going to buy a brand new trailer. This way I know for a fact that everything is in working order and not been in saltwater. Thanks for the heads up on the manual. Let you know what I hear back from the manufacture. The current trailer is an Ashley made by Hustler.
  8. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about or has a 1997 Bass America by Polar Kraft. I just picked one up. It needs a little work but then again what used boat doesn't? Problem is I can't find anything online about it and I have a call in to the manufacture but have not heard anything back. I need a trailer for it. I thnk the one I have is a little small and am looking at a Shoreland'r 1816 that I came across but I nee to be certain it will fit. The one it is on works but.. it make me nervous because it is a tight fit. I just need some specs/ a manual or something of the sort so I can figure out the features. I wouls appreciate any help.
