Spro Fat Johns

Featured Replies

I'm eyeballing one of the Spro Fat John crankbaits.  I'm looking at either the 50 or the 60 model?  Anyone have anything good, bad or indifferent to say?  Thanks.

I have a couple of the big ones (60 model), but I haven't used them a whole lot.  Kind of afraid to use them like a squarebill should be used (throwing them in lots cover and brush) because they cost so much.  The finish on them is just like all spro hardbaits, excellent.  And the action is excellent as well.  Wonderful squarebill.  If money was no issue, I'd fill my tacklebox with them and they'd be my go to squarebill.

This one seemed to like the chart/black back 60 I was throwing.
