Im lookingto get a new combo with the new shimano exage rods, my local shop has them in as the 7,2 med fast and a heavy they dont have a medium heavy which is what im looking for, i usually use med heavy fast rods but it feels like one, should it be fine for just about anything? Im thinking about throwing on a casitas with it or the *** *** due to when buy a reel i get 20 percent off the rod. Or i could just spend my money on a 7,2 med heavy zodias and casitas with the same sale. I dont know if their rods run stiff, and a medium in the exage will be fine

They have a 72 mh fast it's a great all around rod have ur local shop order it

They dont have it in the exage in the medium heavy only the medium

Ya that's why I said have them order it for you. Shimano makes it in a mh... better to get what I want then settle for what they have.  If they won't order it for you and still give you the same deal old find a new Tackle shop... it usually only takes a few days to get a rod in

Yea they cant order it which sucks, and the other tackle shops dont have it yet but tackle warehouse does but im not getting a sale 

They can't order it lol that sounds fishy to me.  Well I fish a mh exams and Ulf day it's spot in for power so depending on what u want it for the medium may be too light....if the sale is the only reason u are buying the rod u picked the wrong sport I'm all for saving money wen u can but 20 off a rod is no reason to buy what I don't want.  I'm all for supporting ur local shop but if they carried a rod line and was missing the power I wanted them refused to order it in forme old start shopping else where.  There is a local shop around me that's the same way and that's why they are going out of business

If Shimano is out of them at the warehouse that's one thing, but to say they CAN'T order it is BS...  That's like saying they can't get a spool of Trilene.  It's a $100 price point rod that is probably available from several distributers. 

How do tackle shops get rods and other products into their store in the first place? They order them. The can totally order the rod you want. If they refuse, call them on their BS and ask them how they get any inventory in without making orders. Just my two cents.

Yeah i dont mind spending extra but i like to save since im 16 without a job, but i might just get a zodias or somthing or wait until other stores get it, the store is the armory and they are mainly a gun store and their website has no fishing stuff. Gander mountain is my go too
