Shimano Exage
Im lookingto get a new combo with the new shimano exage rods, my local shop has them in as the 7,2 med fast and a heavy they dont have a medium heavy which is what im looking for, i usually use med heavy fast rods but it feels like one, should it be fine for just about anything? Im thinking about throwing on a casitas with it or the *** *** due to when buy a reel i get 20 percent off the rod. Or i could just spend my money on a 7,2 med heavy zodias and casitas with the same sale. I dont know if their rods run stiff, and a medium in the exage will be fine

Duckett ghost rod guides
I have a Duckett ghost baitcast rod and I use braid on it and it throws fine but when I switched to flouro when I reel my line in I feel a grinding or as the guides are rough and rubbing the line, is there any fix for this without sending it off to Duckett or should it be fine, I know it's not the reel bc I used my smoothest reels and cleaned them out and I know for sure it's not them bc I even tried other reels on that rod

Tatula CT Type R? or Tatula CT?
you mean the action and power? its a 7ft med heavy fast action and the reel is a 6.4.1 ratio from what he says. ima try to get better pictures of the combo. The actual model is the veritas 2.0 if thats what you were asking. the reel looks newer than the one tackle tour reviewed,

Tatula CT Type R? or Tatula CT?
Thankyou, it's just hard because everyone has their own opinions, but yet again this is a forum.. I've heard equal say on the gear ratio and on the type r and reg CT,

Tatula CT Type R? or Tatula CT?
Yeah I'm even comfortable with my curado 7.2.1 ratio and I think it still reels in fish well without loss of torque, I wish they made the tatula in a 6.6.1 or 6.8.1 like my Lew's ratios, those seem more versatile

Tatula CT Type R? or Tatula CT?
It seems that way?I second guess myself and I'm leaning to the higher ratio because I fished with a 7.1.1 ratio this weekend and liked it And thank you for all the responses, I'm just making shure I get my money's worth or the better one for the money

I've been hearing there is no significant difference in casting performance,is it worth the extra 50bucks?

Tatula CT Type R? or Tatula CT?
im looking into getting a daiwa tatula and i dont know which one to get, i dont know if i should put the money in towards the type r or just for the regular ct, still trying to decide on the ratio for all around use.. but i need to clear up this question first. i can get type r for around $150 plus tax at local tackle shop or the regular for around $100 to $110 range
