Hello everyone. My buddy and I are in a pretty big jam. We are fishing the FLW College National Championship on Wheeler at the end of the month, and my boat is in the shop currently for some fixes on the engine, and it will not be ready in time for the National Championship. This is the biggest tournament either of us have the opportunity to be involved in, because as of now we do not have a boat to fish off of, even after asking just about every contact we have up in our neck of the woods(Michigan).

It may be a shot in the dark, but is there anyone on the forum here who may let us run their boat from May 25-June 2? Or does anyone know someone who might?

I am well aware beggars can't be choosers, but if the boat had half way decent electronics we would greatly appreciate it, because we are used to running water where you would have to try to bottom out a boat.

Feel free to call or text me. (734)-751-8035, thanks guys.

As soon as the complete stranger I lent my boat to last weekend gets it back to me,I will give you a call.

You should contact Fredrick's Outdoors, or some of the marina's on Wheeler.  You may be able to rent a boat, or maybe they have some boats with their logo on them that they could loan you to fish in this fairly high profile tournament.  They could get some free publicity and you get a boat.  I have no idea if they would do this, but its worth a shot.
