How often do you spin vs baitcast?

Most of my spinning setups have braid 15lb or 20... You don't have to go that light on spinning gear... I have one rod I can absolutely bomb a weightless fluke with hardly any effort... And the whole combo doesn't cost more than 75 dollars..

Braid to fluro on spinning gear is new to me as of last year. I used to be 100% all fluorocarbon. I put 12 pound braid on a spinning rod that I'm anxious to try for this year. Should cast a mile as you say.

I probably use 65% to 70% casting gear, the rest spinning. Anything with 10 pound or heavier line for me (except braid) is done with casting gear.

I throw a Med/XF with a senko every time I go out.

Nothing like bringing in a 4 pounder on light gear

95% of my fishing in both fresh and salt water is done with spinning tackle.
