When you run the line behind the boat is anything tied onto it? I am not familiar with Fireline braid and can't suggest a line conditioner that would work any better than dragging the line behind a boat to untwist it. Nothing will remove wind knotted loops other than untiring the knots. If you like braid try Fins Windtamer, it's polyurethane coated and doesn't need any line treatment.

Forget about it. Not an issue. I've got Fireline Crystal on no less than 6 of my spinning rigs. I pay no attention to line twist. Have had some of these with the same line for 3 seasons. Like I said.....not an issue.

Would it affect bait presentation?

Braid handles line twist much better than other line types, but I still like to untwist my braided spinning line every so often. Seems to cut back on the occasional tip wrapping that happens. Most braid twist seems to occur at the end of the line, so I simply prop the rod up and peel off between 10-30' (where it ends is usually very obvious), and then simply untwist by hand. You can physically see it straightening out. Takes just a couple minutes per reel...and you might need to clip off the last couple feet as heavy twist seems to take a set on that last section.

Noticed that just yesterday while casting a small Mepps over nesting bluegill (some real bulls).  Twist stopped abruptly a few feet from the lure and I didn't notice any "spinout" when the lure was hanging from the rod tip. Braid shouldn't cause the problems mono does as it doesn't curl under twist.

I fish 14 pound FireLine on 7 out of 9 spinning rods my wife and I use. Line twist is never a problem, but there are some simple habits that you need to pay attention to.

First, do not close the bail by turning the handle and reeling in the line. Instead as the lure stops falling, close the bail by hand and I sorta lift the rod a bi to tighten up the line on the rod and reel. Now I start reeling.

Secondly, if a fish is pulling drag NEVER reel the line in.

Someone else has mentioned it but to remove any line twist stand your rod up and open the bail. Cut any lure off and walk out say 20 to 30 feet of line. Return to the rod and while using as clean cloth with some pressure walk down the line. The line will straighten out as you walk down the line pulling it through the rag.  It also helps to use a good line cleaner at this time.   Make sure it is a cleaner/conditioner for braid.  Braid Aid and Reel Snot are pretty pretty good.
