The idea of building my deck with plywood and transforming my tub into a 12 deck is KAPUT !, no siree, no wood deck....... aluminum ! I found a place that sells aluminum sheets, a 2-3 mm sheet of alumunim with aluminum L shaped strips for added support in the critical spots is going to do the trick, lighter, won 't rot, won 't absorb water and will weight less.

Why didn 't I think about that one before ?   :-?
