Good line or not?

I have 17lb stren fluorocast on my jig setup, been using it for around 2 years now, no problems. I only use it as a leader for my braid.

If you have some, there is no reason not to use it, but I think there are better options out there.  

I have some 8lb Stren Fluorocast I got on clearance at Walmart. I use it on my dropshot set up.

 

It's decent but Kastking Fluoroclear has spoiled me. I will be respooling with that once I use up the Stren.

The best thing about trying Stren, for me, was that it helped teach me how to identify very high memory, unforgiving, cheap line.  Now, I have something to compare better lines to.

I voted "yes", I'd try it, because why not?  

 

That said, I'll likely not try it anytime soon as I've

got enough leader spools of YoZuri Hybrid, Gamma

Edge fluoro, and P-Line Floroclear to last me yeeears.

Never used it but i would try it.

have tried it. not my favorite line to use.have tried a few other flouro's and still use Big Game.
