Lost old outboard cover

Featured Replies

On my way home from fishing a few days ago the cover blew off of my outboard motor. I just bought this as my first boat so I didn't know there was a latch to keep the top on. I went back and looked but I wasn't able to find it anywhere. I have given up on finding it but I can't find it online. Is there anywhere to get a replacement or is the motor useless? I am pretty sure this is the model. 18802m

Do a search for "vintage evinrude cowling" and you'll find a bunch of dealers.  You'll probably have to call around.

There are bunches of outboard motor salvage yards if you do a search on the web and call or email that pic.  However, they do get kinda proud of there covers sometimes.
