• All Dyneema or Spectra braided lines will float because the fibres from which they are braided naturally float. However, various manufacturers have developed ways of making their lines sink. Sufix uses the inclusion of Gore fibres in the braiding process to make our Sufix 832 sink.

I used HeviCast for a while.  It was nice, limp braid.  I didn't really notice too much of a difference, but it did sink.  Really, if you want to sink braid, tie a jig on the end of it!

All braid sinks when you tie a jig on.?

i've tried to find a fast sinking braid, but none have really done it for me.  i like the sink rate of fc and feel like i keep in better contact with the lure.  braid leaves me with a dead feeling on slack line.  i'm sure if i fished a little faster i could cure some of that, but it just doesn't seem to be the way i fish 

Or maybe a heavier jig as MassBassin said.

I think Sufix 832 has one strand of Gore fiber while Fluorobraid has more. I like Sufix a lot but don't think it sinks of and by itself, while Fluorobraid actually does.  However Sufix is thin enough that it will sink with almost any lure you use with it and it's less buoyant than pure Dyneema braids.
