    I recommend downsizing to a finesse jig. The only times I get pond bass on a jig is when I use size 1/8 ounce and lighter. Also try not to have a bulky trailer. For example, instead of a Rage Tail Rage Craw, use the Rage Tail Rage Chunk to give you a smaller profile. Green Pumpkin and Junebug are my go to colors.

    You do get way more bites on a smaller profile jig that's why I don't use them.  I'm looking for the better fish.
