Just got a NEW or rather new to me 1974 16' Ouchita Jon boat needs alot of TLC but hopefully will be able to convert it to a good resevoir boat over the next few weeks.

Long story short found it on here where i was told a distressed owner had to sell and picked it up for $200 so can't complain, right now she is stripped and working on getting the rest of the paint off i'll try to get pics up tomorrow.

As of the moment nothing thats how i got it so cheap it had a 15 HP on the back that she wanted for $2500 so i got just the boat for $200 i have a 65lb transom mount motor and a 36lb bow mount that are going to go on eventually i want to upgrade to a 80 on the front though

A frend emailed me tonight and said he had a 9.9 merc that has had two tanks

of gas run through it for $1200 if you are interested. 8-)

wish i could but the club i'm fishing is all electric so sorry no gas motors or atleast not now and i think Low_Budget_Hookers suggested some type of padding for under the carpet of the boat what exactly is it called and where can you buy it?
