Quick Rod Question Guys!!!

Featured Replies

Looking into a new rod to throw the only two types of crankbaits I throw... squarebill and lipless (1/4oz 90% of the time). Currently using a  7'1" MF, but I'm looking to turn this rod into my 3/16-3/8 T-rig/jig rod and throw a fast reel with braid on there. Was hoping y'all might know of something in the $100-$150 price range slightly shorter (maybe a 6'8" or so) with a MM power/action.

Abu garcia veritas winch series. Could probably still find the last generation for a screaming deal right now. I have two for crankbaits, a 7' medium and a 7'6" medium heavy for bigger baits. I think they are the best rods for the money. Just a quick Google search found them from $65 to $100 depending on model.

Falcon BuCoo SR.  I the Medium/Moderate is available in 6'6" and 7'.  Great rods for the price.

I second the bucoo. Just wrote a long review about it on here. Although it was the 7'4 heavy. Still would have the same build quality and components

Dobyn's SA703/SA733 would be a choice to consider.
