What is your favourite jig to fish around rocks and timber? Brand,size,color? Thanks

All Terrain Tackle Skippin Jig is my favorite. 1/4oz Green pumpkin in clearer water, black and blue in dirtier water. 

Football heads in rock. I like 3/4 oz. most of the time. If the water is cool, or I am fishing shallow rock, I go with a 1/2 oz. Black and blue, black and purple, green pumpkin and brown, and green pumpkin with a few strands of orange and a few strands of chart. are my go to colors.

 

Finesse style flipping heads for wood, docks, and light to moderate grass. 5/16 oz. in spring, 7/16 oz. the rest of the year. Same colors as the football jigs.

 

I assemble my own jigs using Boss heads/skirts.

Football jigs or round head finesse jigs for rocks, if the trees are standing and don't have a lot of branches to them I'll use the same style jigs in those as well. 

I use arky style jigs, finesse jigs, football jigs, and I just ordered some Dredge brush jigs from Seibert Outdoors. My favorite jigs come from Seibert.

 

I always get black/blue or some variation of Green Pumpkin. I have had best luck with 1/4oz and 3/8oz jigs. I am usually fishing pretty clear water.

the brush jig works best for me around wood.

Have always enjoyed pouring and tying my own jigs....1/4 to 3/4 depending on depth and current.  Green pumpkins and browns a favorite.  Poisen style for heavy brush has also worked well too.

I like an arkie style in 1/4oz. Lately I've been using a jig head made by Gambler and been putting my own skirts on.
