eagle fishmark 480 and the lawrence x135. only thing i see the the wats are higher. what does that change? i can get a x135 for 229 bucks but i dunno if its worth it over the eagle?

For that price, I'd grab the X135 and make a run for the door.

I'd still take it.  I am running an X125 on the bow because of the amber back light.  It is great for night fishing.   A friend has the X135 and ******* about the light at night.

I've often wondered about this.  It is obvious that most Lowrance models have an Eagle counterpart.  What justifies the extra cost of the Lowrance?

The lowrance units usally have a few more bells and whistles but thats about it. Eagle is owned by lowrance. You pay for the name in most cases. I went with eagle for my console and lowrance for my bow and I am happy with both.
