Which trolling motor do you recommend?

I just bought a 16' 4" jon boat. The beam is 48" bottom and 70" at the top. The weight is 300 lb with a 40/50 HP Johnson outboard (I don't know the weight.) With two people and all the gear, I estimate the total fishing weight will be $900-$1000. I have not owned a jon boat before, but its configuration makes me think it is going to be subject to wind. So my question is what trolling motor would you buy for this boat?
