I see that the new Abu Garcia Revo series gen 4 reels and veritas rods were made available for purchase this week. Does anyone plan on buying these rods or reels in the near future? 

 

I have a couple gen 3 reels that are pretty nice. And after watching a few youtube videos I have some interest in these gen 4 Revos.

I have two SX and a X arriving tomorrow according to my tracking. Basically they are a "Step Up" from Gen 3 meaning a Revo X is a S, S is a SX, SX is a STX and so on Compare Gen 3 and 4 specs. As for the Veritas. I was not too thrilled with the 2.0 so I will not be buying the Gen 3.

The reels, probably not. I may try the new Veritas though, I enjoy my 2.0 enough to atleast give the new ones a shot 

My Gen 2 Revo S is my longest tenured and still favorite baitcaster. Looking at getting a new S or X now that you can get them in different gear ratios. Fiddled with one of each at BPS last week and really like the size and feel of them.

Looked at them Friday, Revo sx......seemed ok, didnt like side plate. I still using a few Gen2 sx's, better reel.

 

Yea got 4 sx's l. they are smooth. Really like the dual braking system.

Have you guys taken them out on the water yet? What do you think about them?
