I am changing my Jon Boat from a stick steer to a regular steering wheel set up and need to find a console new or used, preferabley cheap to mount the steering wheel and gauges.

Any ideas where one would find a steering consloe for a Jon boat.

It is a 16ft, 60 in wide Monark.

I don't have those skills but maybe I will check out a local welder. I really wanted to know if anyone knows of a salvage yard for boats type of thing that I might be able get the part from or if any one on this site has a used console I could buy.

a buddy did hes out of marine plywood and sealed it with resin. Then he throug some carpet on it. All you need is a skill saw, and a drill .
