It wont take much weight to hold a canoe. i dont know the stlye the other member talked about but i have the round mushroom one and i get some of that Texas mud when i pull it up thats all. The lenght of the rope will matter though. there is a formula for the amout of rope vs weight of anchor vs and boat... dont know it though but if the wind is high enough to push a canoe with an anchor it prob a good time to get off the water.

I looked at the web site but it does not say what kind of jet pump they are running. I call the number and got a recording. There are builder in the lower 48 who build that type of boat its nothing new. You can build one your self. You can find use jet pumps on ebay but get a burkely with a split bowl. Also the type on impleller will be an issue. dont get Alum go with SS and A cut for a power you can go with any style engine. I have seen 4 bangers pushing jets.

go with a jet drive ... i have seen it done 2 diff ways one with an OB jet drive unit dont know how low it would hang in the water or this is kind of cool find you a use jet ski and pull the engine and jet drive and install in boat.i have seen videos of it on googles.

totally *** backwards. fill from the bottom. Really..... yea did not read the post IF YOU DONT HAVE A PUMP. all the top hole is to vent while you pump from the bottom and to show it full after the oil drains out. But being the pro you are i am sure you knew that too. So in other words there is more way to skin a cat. Think before you post back some rude commit because if you dont you just my get schooled on how to turn some wrenches.

ok short boats will do that until the trim is just right. You got to play with the trim that all. once your on your pad you will know it. the steering tork will not be fighting you and the boat will not porpois. the boat is not under powered so maybe you can try a whale tail but it will cut in to the turning of the boat. Take some pictures of your hull and engine trimed down, and one of the lower unit that would help a bunch. There may be a set up problem. Oh pictures at different angles. Also get an experienced boat driver to go out with you it could just be learning some boat driving skills. Hell call me up i will go out with and will have you dancing across the water with her.

Good stories.... you can fish from the boat ramp docks as longs as you are out of the way...that includes ice chest , truck , folding chair etc. My woman drive my jet on and off the trailer and i am in the process of teaching her to back up a trailer but not the boat trailer just yet.
