Anyone ever heard of a Badonk-a-donk Bomber or an H2O Express Model TWS? My boss man gave both of those to me. Neither of them state the weight, but if I had to guess, I'd say the Badonk-a-donk Bomber is 1/2oz, looks heavier than that but doesn't feel like it. It's also a clear body with white on the back and belly I think too and has a red head and two salt water treble hooks. I can change those out if necessary. The H2O Express Model TWS is maybe 3/8oz possibly less and it's black with a white zombie pattern on it also has two treble hooks. I've never fished these style baits and I'm assuming they are similar to a Spook kinda. How would you or how do you fish them?

I believe the H2O model is an Academy house brand. With it being black I’d fish it on overcast days or in the evening, just walking it like a dog. As for the other one probably best suited to clear days during early to mid morning say ways as above.

I tried the H2O model in the low light of this morning. Was able to get it to walk some, but nothing was really moving on the surface other than maybe some insects. Nothing seemed to be feeding on the surface. Tried some other things and finally caught a major dink on a SK KVD Perfect Plastics watermelon red flake Rodent Texas rigged weightless on a 3/O H2O Express Super Lock EWG offset hook. I actually used my new electronic scale just to see if it worked. That little sucker weighed a whopping 88 grams...lol. At least I know it works. ?

The Lurenet website has several types of Badonk-A-Donks listed.  Topwater and slowsinking, and in different sizes.  They are designed for saltwater, so be careful if swapping hooks, it might upset the action if the hooks are a different weight.

I've caught some nice fish on the H2O, never fished the other.

Is walk the dog the only way to really fish it? I like the way the head of it just kinda bobs when it's sitting out there without retrieving it. Kinda like a turtle or snake head.

Yes, it's a WTD bait, pretty similar to a Lucky Craft Sammy actually.

Gotta practice more on my WTD technique. Although I did get it to do that a little bit this morning, just not enough to be truly effective. I'm guessing it's best to do that on the edge of cover, is that right? Not really familiar with the Lucky Craft Sammy. 

It's move of a covering water retrieve for me. You can do it slowly along the edge of cover if you'd like, but I prefer a popper for fishing specific targets like that because they're easier to move slowly.

Do you fan cast it or just cast in open water with fast retrieves or varying retrieves while WTD? Also what kind of conditions are the best for throwing the H2O out there? Overcast, wind, no wind, clear skies, cloudy, shaded areas, light rain or misting, etc.?

Pretty much a fan cast, for covering stuff like points, submerged grass flats or trees, along the edges of docks, around shallow shelves, bluff walls. I fish them in most any conditions, but they don't work well if there's too much wind.
