Satellite internet questions

Featured Replies

Where I live we only have 1 internet provider and it is ridiculously slow DSL. I have been looking into satellite companies like Hughes net but am skeptical after reading the reviews.  I work from home so a stable connection is a must.

Do any of you have satellite internet and how do you like it?

I agree with above. Satellite internet is all I have available as well and I do without because its not worth it. Its expensive, they cap the data at around 10 gigs.

Are there any wireless internet providers in you're area? Up until 2 years ago all I had available was satellite, but now we have wireless available and it's so much better and reliable.
