I have a 7’ Falcon Original Med Mod baitcaster rated 1/4-1/2. Would this be suitable for a 90 & 110 or should I go to a MH Fast 1/4-3/4? I don’t fish cranks that much so the Falcon is just sitting and I want to use it if I can. Any other suggested uses for the Falcon?

Sounds like a great rod for it. IMO you want a rod that has a lot of bend to keep the fish pinned when they come up to shake. 

I throw the 110's on MH/F and the 130 on H/F.

 

I might thrown a 90 on a M/M but for me that's too light for a 110 or 130.

Yea I forgot the 110 was about an ounce, probably a bit heavy but for the 90 it should be good.

You're aware the 90 is .025oz heavier than a 3/8oz crank, right? The difference is negligible. If the OP wants to toss it on a M/M, I say do it. I toss mine on whatever stick I'm using. Normally, a 5'9" MH TP1 or a 6' M Premier.

I use a 7’2 mh/f rated up to 1oz for the 90 and 110. So far I’ve not lost a fish yet. They really hammer that bait. Both sizes have their place also. I’ve fished a bone 110 without any action and stepped down to a bone 90 and then started getting bit. A lot more than once. 

^^^ that’s not true at all. I’ve had plenty of days where a 110 won’t get bit but a 90 will.  Especially on the river for smallies. They seem to prefer the smaller size plopper. 

I can't say whether or not the 90 is the worst of the three because it's worked so well for me that I haven't bothered getting a 110 and rarely use the 130 I have.  I have used anything from M/F spinning to MH/F casting without any issues.

I would say the 90 has the most issues (getting fouled by weeds, entire body rotating, getting drowned by waves) but sometimes it is the right tool. It has a distinctly different noise and obviously a smaller profile. 

I use a 7'  BPS Carbonlite MH fast tip for the 90 and 110 with 14lb Excel mono.  Seems to work well with no problems.
