Does anyone have any experience with mounting a Short Shaft 15HP tiller on a 20" transom?  Brackets? Parts to extend motor shaft?

IT DOES NOT WORK!!!

idk if you can extend it, but the prop is barely in the water, and coming up on plane is totally out of the question. You need a 20 or better shaft, or a lot of plate and bracing.

Type of boat?  Pics would help.  It is usually pretty easy to chop 5 inches out of a transom.  Show us your stuff. ;D

Yes, I am on a few fishing/boating boards.

Those kits are easy to install. If you can change a water pump you can install one of those.
