I'm thinking about putting an electric winch on my boat. It's a bass tracker pt185,18.5 feet long,aluminum. I'm probably going to need a little surgery but I won't want to stop fishing ! Any suggestions as far as name brands or where to look ?

here is a link with  some as you can see price does change when they throw the word marine in it.

All will work but you will have to install a plug so you can get the 12VDC and the amps you will need. Any trailer shop can install this for you on your truck.

if you go with any of them i would have a cover made if it does not come with one to keep it out of the weather.

Also i did not see if it had a manual over ride in case of motor failure.

I didn't even think about a manual over ride, that could be a real problem without one.

This one is not bad for the money.  I've sold around 5 this year and haven't heard anything bad about them yet.
