What is your favorite round for self defense on your Glock 42?Iam reading and seeing alot of guys saying fmj it feeds better and deeper penetration with fmj.

    Wouldn't ever trust my life to a .380 but if I had to, I'd use something by hornady. definitely wouldn't use fmj.

    Will that thing feed Ruger ARX 380?  That is what I use in my LCP.

    .380 is better than nothing and will have a "shock" factor, but low on the scale for self defense.

    I have witnessed zero penetration through a leather jacket!

    Not trying to spend your money, but the 9mm would be a better platform

    I had an old timer convince me to get a 38 special I ended up getting a S&W model 642 very pleased with it.Thanks for all responses!!!
