Ark Lancer

Featured Replies

Anyone get to fish this rod?

Looks really nice for the money.

I've got several Ark rods.  The Lancer is an incredible rod for the money.  Very light weight, not at all tip heavy, and the guides see to be durable.  I'll use it before I would any other in that price range.  The rod ratings are (to me)what you would expect.  I like it more than the Viper series, but not as much as the Invoker.

I haven't heard anything bad about them yet.

Although they're  a fairly new company from what I've read.

Wish Bass Pro carried them. So I could check them out.

I made a blind purchase on them and I'm glad I did.  I absolutely love them.  I got rid of my Dobyns and Falcon rods in favor of them. I would suggest going for the Invoker if you can swing it, but the Lancer isn't a bad rod at all, especially at $89.

I got mine from Okeechobee fishing HQ ,they will ship.. I believe Roland Martin's marina has them also.

I've only fished the Invoker and I would say they are priced about where they need to be. Kind of a JDM look.

Louie , The owner was involved with Halo before if memory serves.

I doubt you will see them in Bass Pro any time soon.

Lookin at the 6'10 MH f.(like a shorter rod)

Be throwing spinner baits, smaller swim baits, larger flukes and buzz baits ect.

Pairing with a Daiwa CT 7.3.1 (Luv these reels)

Narrowed done to Lancer, Ghost, Falcon Christie rod, *** chrome, and the phoenix feather if I can scratch enough together.

Not partial to any brand just want a descent stick for the $.

Thx for the info guys,

Rick
