Switching fishfinder

Featured Replies

I just bought a used boat and the bow mounted fishfinder doesn't work. Currently have the Garmin 250c on there. Looking at the Garmin Striker 5cv to replace it. Do I need a new transducer or no?

I highly suggest going with a 7" model. 5" is pretty small. If you keep an eye out you should be able to find good deals on the Striker units, since they recently came out with the Striker Plus units.

Yes, you will need the transducer that comes with the Striker.
