DIY GoPro Mount for boat?

Featured Replies

Does anyone have any cheap ideas for setting up a go pro mount? I want to put one on my dad's Tracker for our trips this year. Thanks!

I haven't tried mine yet, but there are lots of super cheap GoPro parts sets on Amazon.  I just bought a 41 piece set, including a case for the camera, for $16.  It has suction cup mounts and stick on mounts.  Something in there has to work.  I've seen similar sets as low as $6.

I have used zip ties and the little clip thing that slides onto other mounts and you would be surprised all the places you can put gopros using zip ties, just make sure it’s on there really good. It would stink to be going full speed and it fly off into the water but if you really enforce it I have found it works great. I’ve never tried it on the boat but I also mountain bike and have done it on my bike.  Good luck!

(it’s not my fault if it flies into the water:))
