I have a kvd cranking quantum rod 7 foot 10 inch Mh rocket launcher..

I was wondering if I could throw glide baits on this like the river2sea glide swimbait

    I throw glides on a fast rod.  The hooks are normally heavy duty and large.  I don't know if a moderate rod would effect the action or not.  The 168 is about 2 ounces.  I disliked the smaller size due to the small area it covers and water it displaces.

    I would be throwing the 168/200 sizes.  Do you think the road would work for it or not really?

    It would work, but not great. There are much better options out there. But it could work in a pinch
