Anybody else here subscribe to Bass and Walleye Boats magazine?  If so, what do you think of it.

I like the content but there is not enough there to charge what they do for the few lousy issues we get each year.  When mine runs out I'm done with it.

I got it for the first couple years the mag was out.  Lots of boat hot rodding articles, pretty good boat reviews but I agree, the price was more than the content was worth. From the issues I've seen recently, there's less in it now than back then.

kb here   just got my suscription notice today  answered  notice    that i will NOT be renewing there mag   have suscribed to this mag for years   since they have changed there writer's and sold book to some other co.   there articals have little to no info that is worth any thing and is really a thin book with nothing to say  also the took on other boats than bass or walleye boats and that what  messes it up. they would have a lot of good articals on different repairs of motor  etc.  not worth a darn   kb    sorry to see a good mag go down

Yes, it was a lot better before.  It'd be hard to get a fire started with one of these things now. :  

I subscribed to it for a couple of years.  I really enjoyed the boat tests, but IMO, they were (as were all their test articles), "puff pieces" as we used to say in the writing game.  In other words, it was the old "I never met a boat/motor/accessory I didn't like" type of article.  

i picked up a subscription off ebay for $4, so if i can keep getting it for that, it's worth it.

I think the print companies have a harder time these days competing with the internet. I had subscriptions to several magazines that ALL got canceled because it got to the point it was hard to find the articles in between the advertisements.

the only one not cancelled is Chicago Wilderness.

I told the lady from Maxim customer service that I get enough junk mail as it is and their magazine had become nothing but junk mail in a pretty package.
