Bought my first boat a few month back and have been fishing the Reserve Canal in the LaPlace area lately. Been catching them here and there with a 5lber a few weeks back.  Things have slowed a bit and was wanting to fish the Orange Grove area in Houma. I know the water was pretty dirty a few weeks back. Can anyone provide some info on the fishing conditions? Water clarity?

Can't help ya with that area cause when I head down towards Houma it to go saltwater fishing.

Don't fish Houma area, but Depending you where you live it may be worth the drive. South side of Lake Catherine past couple weeks, clean water can be found in the small ponds and bayous.  Bass have been going crazy for White Redfish magic spinners.
