Headed down to Patoka Lake for the first time Saturday.   Was hoping to get some tips for this time of year? Best places to fish (bass only), baits, and technics?  Somewhat new to fishing larger lakes.  Normally fish stripper pits around home.   Any advice would be appreciated.  

I'm from the area and haven't ever fished it. Like you, I usually fish old strip pits. I know there is a lot of wood and probably some vegetation growth so if you could mix those and throw a spinnerbait, lipless, or chatterbait I'm sure you could catch a few.
