So other than the relaunch of the E6X and XX rods did I miss anything else?

Ark Randall Tharp rods, few new Shimano Zodias rods and a few new St. Croix Legend glass rods I believe. 

Anyone see any good deals on rods that were being sold?  I did the expo with half an eye on the booths and half an eye on my kids so I didn't get a great look.  Just curious...

Acadamey had Veritas on sale for 39.00

There was also an E6X blowout for 100. If they had an 842 I would’ve bought one.

I spoke with Randall Tharp at great length at the Ark Rods booth Sunday. He seems like a great, down to earth sort of guy! Also got one of his line of rods, The One Eyed Jack, can’t wait to try it out. 

Got a deal on some Simms gloves and rain gear toward the end of the day. Got several free hoodies, rather my son did, good thing we wear the same size. 

Met Forrest Wood at the Vexxus boat booth. Those seem like a good aluminum/fiberglass hybrid. He was telling me his grandson is the founder, hence why he was there. 

Spoke briefly to KVD at TH Marine booth. 

Literally bumped into Jimmy Houston wandering the isles. 

Overall a good experience for our first Classic Expo. 

The new St Croix legend tournament flippin stick has my attention. 

Mmmm Zodias. If I could find a buyer for my last remaining Crucial spinning rod I'd replace it with a Zodias.
