X-rap sub walk

Featured Replies

Has anyone seen this? Walk the dog lure that walks underwater. Looks great for inshore salties and bass.

Wow those do look pretty nice.

They have a newer lure also called the X-Rap Shad, its basically an X-Rap with a shad profile.

Do you know if the baits are out yet?

This is my first season using the Xraps and I'm a believer.  I've found the best retrieves to be cranking the bait down and then working it back just like in the video.  Incredible action.

seems like another rapala winner

Looks good! Sub-surface walk the dog baits have been around for quite a while so it isn't really anything new. Here are 3 examples which have the same action:

Jackall Water Monitor

Lucky Craft Wander

Megabass Coayu Slide Sinker

These lures look like topwater baits but are sinking.

So... I can't find this X-Rap sub walk anywhere for sale. Is it out yet or any idea of when it will be? I really want to try this lure out!

This is why Rapalas been around for 60 yrs .RAPs rule

Should be a good bait. These types of baits have been made and used for years by musky fishermen and fishermen in Europe but are just now starting to be used for bass. I have been using them for  years for big bass. ;)It's nothing really more than a downsized musky glide bait. There are already are few being made for bass in Japan with much better action than the Rapala version but they aren't cheap. I also noticed when I was looking for some a few months ago that Whittler from here on Bass Resource has some on his website.

Thanks for posting that. The bait monkey jumped all over me. When do they come out?
