My dad and I went out with just a couple jigs and that's it! It's not often I can say I bested him, but I did. Maybe it's a sign of things to come. I caught this 5+ .. and one other 4+.

 

 

Where in Iowa? What body of water?

Very nice, still waiting to catch my first Omaha Bass of the season. 

I haven't gotten on the water but have fished from shore a few times this year but no bass yet.  Only had luck with trout.  Hoping to get on the water with my kayak tomorrow to find some bass.
