E6X MBR903c

Featured Replies

Hi all. I picked up an E6X MBR903c rod at a local tackle show for a great price. this replaces my 843c E6X which I really like. I upgraded for the extra length since I fish from shore/piers.

This is a rod not often talked about as it is 7'6 one piece.. Any reviews?

thanks

I have this rod and it's my new favorite.  It's fast action but IMO because it's so long it's more like a mod fast with an extra foot at the base, IDK if that makes sense.  I use it for 6 and 7 inch senkos, and it fires lipless 1/2 and above like nothing else.  Others may take issue but I use it for crank baits with sucess.  My only issue so far is I can't take advantage of the extra length anywhere near trees or cover but that shouldn't be an issue for you.

They are clearing out stock on these to make room for the 2018 models and they are a great deal.  IDK if I would pay full retail, I paid about $140 worth every penny so far.

I remember TT post from the Tackle Trap saying it was an under the radar rod and liked it better than the 843.

Where abouts are you located? I’m local to Lake Ontario and have a buddy trying to get me to fish brown trout with him
