Dammm sorry

I was down 3 weekends ago. Put in at Jacks Creek . Caught 5 bass in that immediate area. Very dangerous lake to navigate. FLW tourny is next week , BFL is the wkd after i believe. If you have a boat, i would spend some time watching the pros and some of the areas they are fishing. Fish are all over the trees and pads now. Just so much area to cover is the big issue.

Would stay at Black's Camp every spring around mid April.  Always fished the Moultrie Lake side, and a few of those swamps off the canal to Marion Lake.  Man, stumps every where!

Hi All,

I am looking at taking a trip down to the Santee lakes this March. How is the fishing mid March, specifically Lake Marion? I am from the Northeast so our lakes are still frozen during that time.

Thank you.

Should be prespawn, maybe even spawn if it gets warm early.  Fishing should be great.

March and into April is the best time to fish in eastern SC.
