Hey everyone, Im going to be making skirts for a buddy of mine. (jig&spinnerbait). But he wants me to use o-rings instead of skirt bands. My question is what size oring  would i need?  Thank you in advance.............

Not knowing the diameter of the jig shank plus the amount of skirt material, it’s impossible to recommend an O ring.  Go to a home center and buy a selection of O rings, try them out.  What I don’t understand is why your buddy wants any elastic skirt anchor instead of a skirt tied on with wire or braided line, which is much more durable and won’t ever slip down during use.

1/8 o-rings. I tried it and they roll down and skirts falls off. 

 

I use vacuum line from an auto parts store and cut it into small flat o-rings.

Fishingskirts.com sells them cheap.
