Living the dream.

Featured Replies

I brought home a couple of new Whopper Ploppers about a week ago, thinking the wife would probably beat me. Instead she asked if they were the colors I had been waiting to find in stock, and they were, so she said she would have been mad at me if I *didn't* get them.

And now today, the highlight of her day was finding out I put fluorocarbon on one of her reels.

Sweet! You better run out and get her a Megabass jerkbait and some nice earrings!

Haha yeah, or just let her use two sigletts as the earrings.

The angler's wife is a book, (or better yet reality show) waiting to happen. Mine actually said this last week while I was mulling it over, "Get both the garlic and crawfish scented spike-it, I'll be in the Zoom isle". I will say though that if I ever put fluoro on one of her reels, she'd divorce me in a heart beat, and I wouldn't blame her one bit.;)

Lol, my wife fishes.  Mid summer - mid day - and only if its hot and sunny.  The hotter, and sunnier the better.

Then she get's bored because she's not catching enough fish.

I can't seem to figure out why I do better when I go first thing in the morning...

My wife is the same way. She thinks 90 degrees and 99% humidity is the life. I’m sweating just thinking about it :o

Mine would rather dig in the d÷=% yard, and wants me to dig too.  I keep telling her we are getting old and need a maintenence free type yard.  So I dig.  She still won't fish.
