Looking for advice on where to go shore fishing for bass, etc in western Henrico county and Glen Allen.

    Go to Green Top, Cabela's or Bass Pro Shop and get a free copy of the DG&IF 2018 Freshwater Fishing in Virginia booklet.

     

    It lists the places to fish all over the state.

    Innsbrook has a few nice looking ponds. Only had the pleasure of fishing one briefly, so I can’t speak for their productivity. 

     

    Also, google maps is a really good way to identify ponds! Turn on earth view to get a feel for if the banks look fishable or not, as well as parking. 

     

    Get some good ones, it’s a great time of year for it!
