I have an electric setup with 4 batteries and am looking for recommendations.

Onboard is not nescessary. I am looking for inexspensive without doing harm to my batteries(4- group 27 interstate).

    I would recommend Dual Pro.  Mine is the 3 bank dual pro.  Great charger
