Chronarch MGL vs Saltwater

Featured Replies

Has anyone used their Chronarch MGL in salt or know anyone that has? Any info would be great for determining my purchase. Thanks! :)

Get the Chronarch G, it is saltwater rated and can be used for freshwater.  I wouldn’t risk my MGL.

It is not saltwater safe. The spool will corrode.

If you only fish salt two or three times a year then just get your mgl and later down the line get another bsitcaster rated for salt.
