Abu Garcia Revo S vs Daiwa Diego ct

Featured Replies

I am looking at getting another reel. I narrowed to the Daiwa Fuego ct or Abu Garcia Revo S. I think the Revo is a bit nicer of a reel but it's double the price of the Fuego. What would you guys recommend?

Are you referring to the newer gen4 revo s? or an older generation? I personally have a gen3 revo s and a fuego ct. I can say that I much prefer fishing my fuego. To me the fuego feels smoother, better built, and has a better braking system. Thats not to say the revo is a bad reel, just not as nice as my fuego.

I have a Gen4 Revo S and it is a nice reel. I don't have a Fuego, but have a few Tatula CT's (almost the same). I prefer the Daiwa. There are usually really good deals for both the Fuego and Tatula on ebay.

Just got a fuego ct. Have a tatula 100 as well. Solid reels, love the breaking. Long smooth cast.
