I've found a honey hole with big and small sized large mouth  very visible. I'm having issues getting them on the hook. Very cold (57) and fast river dumping into a huge lake in NC ,, tons of floating debris, logs and such,, lots of baitfish schools,, only fished it twice for a few hours but looking for some advice on what to use and how to land em. 

Are the bass in the river or at the mouth where it dumps into the lake? If in the river try casting a ned rig upstream and letting it drift to them, or try a drop shot and welcome to the forums! Glad you’re here!
