Quantum tour KVD rod

Featured Replies

What is everyone’s opinion on the quantum tour kvd deep cranking rod? Thought about getting one but open to other options. Need rod for 6xds and cranks that dive in that range. Thanks

Thanks, would you pair with a smoke 3 or a different reel? I’ve never used quantum. I own mostly lews but I know some people like quantum so I thought about giving it a shot

The rod gets a lot of praise. Of I needed a rod to throw those type baits it would be on my list. As far as the reel goes, I am a daiwa fan and would probably grab a tatula ct in a 5 or 6 speed. Never handled a quantum reel

My cranking needs are handled with Quantum Cranking Classic & the Shimano Calcutta 200D

Great rods. I use the Quantum primarily when cranking and have a couple Powell cranking rods as well. You can use Quantum smoke s3 reel or the smoke HD for larger crankbaits.
