I need some recommendations for a swim jig head. I've got some 4.8 Keitech Fat swing impact paddle tails that I normally throw on a owner beast hook, some time with an underspin. I can use this in the upper or middle water column but I am looking for something to be able to fish lower that has more weight to it and will allow me to keep in better contact with the bottom.

 

I am envisioning something that will have a fish style head on it and that has some sort of keeper to keep the soft plastic in place. I have sort of been looking at these VMC Ike approved models.

I have the VMC head and it does the job. I like the thick hooks. Buckeye Lures J-Will is pretty good too. Doesn't have the fish head but I like the collar it has. 

I hate spring style jighead's, I like the other style keepers better.

Not a lot of recommendations, any more? Also I've om going to use a 4.8 Keitech and I want this to run in the lower water column what weight head do I want to go with that will for this body of soft plastic?

I use dirty jigs ones and like them a lot.
